Father, I invite Your Favor !

It is of utmost importance that the children of God experience favor and prosperity. Yes I know that a lot has been said about prosperity and the rest. However, it’s impossible for any vision to be fulfilled unless there is PROVISION for such.

I took out a few scriptures on favor that we pray over our church and the people. I thought that this would really bless you the moment you start praying them.

So please make a printout of these and pray them in the morning, lunch time or whenever you have a quiet moment.

NUMBERS 6:25 The Lord make His face to shine upon and enlighten you and be gracious (kind, merciful, and giving favor) to you;
- Father, thank you for giving me favor !

1 CORINTHIANS 2:12 Now we have not received the spirit [that belongs to] the world, but the [Holy] Spirit Who is from God, [given to us] that we might realize and comprehend and appreciate the gifts [of divine favor and blessing so freely and lavishly] bestowed on us by God.
- Father I appreciate the gift of divine favor.

2 CORINTHIANS 5:20 So we are Christ's ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ's personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God.
- Father, help me to lay hold of the divine favor offered.

1 SAMUEL 2:26 Now the boy Samuel grew and was in favor both with the Lord and with men.
- Father, thank you that I have favor with God and favor with man !

PSALM 90:17 And let the beauty and delightfulness and favor of the Lord our God be upon us; confirm and establish the work of our hands--yes, the work of our hands, confirm and establish it.
- Father, let Your favor now be upon me !
- Father, now that we have Your favor please confirm and establish the work of our hands !

PSALM 5:12 For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
- Father thank you for surrounding me with favor, goodwill and pleasure !
- Father, I invite them as my shield !

PROVERBS 16:15 In the light of the king's countenance is life, and his favor is as a
cloud bringing the spring rain.
- Father, I receive the light of my Kings countenance producing life !
- Father, I receive Your favor as a cloud bringing my rain !
- Father, the drought in my life is broken today !

ISAIAH 48:17 Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: I am the
Lord your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way that you should go.
- Father, teach me to profit !

PROVERBS 13:22 A good man leaves an inheritance [of moral stability and
goodness] to his children's children, and the wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into
the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.
- Father, the wealth that sinners are storing up will find it's way into my hands now !

2 CORINTHIANS 9:6-8 [Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.
2Co 9:7 Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful (joyous, ``prompt to do it") giver [whose heart is in his giving]. [Prov. 22:9.]
2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always and under all circumstances and whatever the need be self-sufficient [possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation].
- Father, enable me to reap generously and with blessings !
- Father, touch my heart that I may be a giver without whom You will not do !
- Father, make all grace, every favor and earthly blessing come to me in abundance !
- Father, make me self-sufficient under all circumstances and whatever the need may be !
- Father, cause me to possess enough to require no aid or support !
- Father, cause me to have enough for any offering and donation You may require of me !

PSALM 84:11 For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace
and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He
withhold from those who walk uprightly.
- Father, thank you for giving me present grace, favor and future glory with heavenly bliss !
- Father, no good thing will you withhold from me and I receive every good thing coming to me now !

PSALM 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime or in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
- Father, Your favor is for a lifetime so never let it be removed from me !
- Father, in Your favor is life and I take it !

PSALM 145:16 You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor.
- Father, open Your hand and satisfy me with Your favor !

JOHN 1:16 For out of His fullness (abundance) we have all received [all had a share and we were all supplied with] one grace after another and spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and even favor upon favor and gift [heaped] upon gift.
- Father, thank You for fullness and abundance !
- Father, thank You for grace heaped upon grace in my life !
- Father, thank You for blessing heaped upon blessing in my life !
- Father, thank You for favor heaped upon favor in my life !
- Father , thank You for gift heaped upon gift in my life !
- It's my time and season to reap these because of favor !

HONORABLE LIVES

No two people on earth are alike in taste, experience or lifestyle.
We all have to have certain character traits developed in us that is a requisite for life and godliness. I believe we have come to a season of no more compromise in our lives! This scripture therefore says separate yourself from the iniquity in the world!

In 2 TIMOTHY 2:19-21 there is a challenge for every believer to become a
vessel of honor!
How do we do this?
It lists three statements of how to turn yourself into an honorable vessel:
a) Whoever cleanses himself
b) Whoever separates himself
c) Whoever resists corrupting influences
This is it. The moment you apply these, you have turned yourself into a honorable vessel! We generally want to put the responsibility on the pastor, our teachers or even our spouses. It emphatically states WE ARE RESPONSIBLE!

Those with whom you fellowship will form your future and direct your destiny. It’s a fact that our associates and fellowships are a door to our future! Be careful with whom you fellowship. The church has this issue with fellowships whether great or small. Every program designed is to get people together and have them fellowship with one another. Here we get a mixed multitude and mixed breed of opinions, contributions and backgrounds. It is also a fact that among those are vessels of dishonor. We can impact them and change their values or outlook.

How can we do this?
1 JOHN 1:7 says if we live and walk in the Light AS HE IS in the Light a few
things are evident:
a) We have true unbroken fellowship with one another
b) The blood of Jesus cleanses us
c) The blood of Jesus removes us from all sin and guilt
d) The blood of Jesus keeps us cleansed from sin!
The responsibility lies on us to walk holy, honorable and in the light, exactly as He is in the Light. When we do this, take responsibility for living honorable lives, we have UNBROKEN fellowship with one another!
We can then receive from God and declare that the blood of Jesus cleanses us and REMOVES US from sin. It does not state that our sin will be removed but we will be removed from sin! God will direct my steps and path away from all evil and snares. Not only that but He will keep me cleansed!

Press in and live honorable lives. There is so much that will open for you!
All of heaven is available to work on your behalf if you will just take responsibility. In the Garden of Eden, God gave man responsibility and man lost it. We were born for greater things than what we are experiencing now. Make the transition and Transform Your World!

IF SOMEBODY HAS FAITH

2 TIMOTHY 1:7 says that God did not give us a spirit of fear but love, power and a sound mind…….meaning we have received something from God.

What did God give you ? It’s a Spirit of Power, Love and Sound mind and not a Spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear). It’s all about a calm and well-balanced mind with discipline and self-control. This is what we have. It does not say that we will get it one day, it says we HAVE it !

I was not born to fear but to have faith and overcome. Fear will not control my mind because you have given us a Spirit of love and a sound mind. No room for fear !

In LUKE 7:36-48 an interesting scenario played off around a dining table !

Pharisee's and disciples were mingling with sinners and saints. Some were there on invitation, some were there on assignment, some were there not knowing why. Your life is an assignment ! You were assigned to change the world around you. Don’t allow fear, don’t allow uncertainty to control your thoughts. You have a balanced mind and purpose-filled life !

We were placed on the planet to interconnect with one another as purposes and destinies flow together. If we don't connect with one another nobody knows why you are here !

When we do connect and get together, could it possibly be that the Christ in our midst and present are there to forgive sins ! When was the last time you took the opportunity at a dining table to confront people and tell them “you MUST be born again”

It's NEVER just about the food at a table but what you were fed with, meaning heavenly sustenance ! Somebody with a need can penetrate a dinner with faith and have that need met !

Get a passion for people !

These are awesome times !

No more excuses why we can't and why we shouldn't !

Here am I Lord, use me !

SET THE PAST BEHIND YOU

In PSALM 51 we see David’s battle. Too many children of God still battle guilt and sin as

enemies however, they are actually defeated foes. The Law would not release him because

sacrifice and offerings keep bringing me back to the point of transgression!

According to 1 SAMUEL 15 the Law required sacrifices when a man sinned. The Law required the death and blood of an animal when a man sinned but the blood of animals could not do what the transgressor needed!

It could not remove it but merely covered it until his guilt devoured him later again and he had to bring another sacrifice!

In HEBREWS 10 the Law kept sins forever before them and can never perfect those who keep

on bringing sacrifices! If the worshiper was cleansed once for all then:

a) No guilt anymore;

b) No consciousness of sins.

But they continually bring sacrifices and their sacrifices could not take away sin!

When Jesus Christ entered the world He said I don’t bring sacrifices and offering but just give me a body! The Body of the Lord Jesus was broken ONCE FOR ALL meaning we have been made holy once for all through that final sacrifice!

Your sin has no right to be forever before you! The door of guilt-free and sin-free was opened!

HEBREWS 10:12-14 declares He has offered ONE offering and then He sat down, now waiting

till His enemies are made a stool beneath His feet !

1 CORINTHIANS 15 says last enemy to be conquered is death! Notice it says conquered and not given in to!

One sacrifice was brought ONCE for ALL!

We don't bring sacrifice of praise anymore - No more sacrifices!

We don't enter His gates with thanksgiving anymore - there are no more divisions to keep us out (HEBREWS 9)!

We don't enter His courts with praise anymore because the temple as we knew it has been destroyed and no more Outer Court, Holy place and Holy of Holies!

WE ARE IN HIM!

In Him, there’s no guilt;

In Him, there’s no sin;

In Him, there’s no disease nor weakness!

He Paid ONCE-FOR-ALL!

Accept Him and accept your FREEDOM!

FOXES THAT SPOIL

I believe we are in a season where we are facing some giants that challenge our authority and dominion. Too many times we allow the little things in our lives to spoil the miracles that God intended for us to have, especially in our marriages and general relationships!

In Matthew 8:20 we read that Foxes have holes and birds have nests and I asked a simple question…Why?
This opened a whole new perspective on this scripture because in the next phrase it states that the Son of Man has NO PLACE! We accommodate:
a) Foxes that create holes in our lives and marriage;
b) Birds that fly in and nest, using up space and clotting our lives.
We hardly accommodate the Son of Man! We make room for chaos and the worries and concerns we are so boldly told NOT to allow.

Why is it so easy to make room for everything else but when it comes to the things of God we are either too tired, too poor or something!

In Judges 15:4 Samson caught foxes and tied them tail to tail. Before we get that drastic we have to do a few things first!
We need to firstly Discern the foxes (those little things that cause havoc).
After that we need to tie it down (don’t allow it anymore room in your life). We must come to the point of taking stock of our relationships and decide to address what’s not beneficial or from God. We are making room for too many squatters in our relationships. Fear is squatting illegally. Doubt and unbelief is squatting illegally. Distrust and lies are illegal vagrants making room where they are not allowed to!

If we continue to allow them access and they become truly on fire, they set whole harvest fields alight and burns it to nothing! The harvest of miracles in your life is burnt to nothingness and emptiness.

Song of Solomon 2:15 says it’s the foxes that spoil the vineyards of marriage!
Protect your marriage; it’s the most precious relationship you’ve got. It reflects the relationship between God and the Church. No more messing around with the sacred trust of our spouses Enough is enough! Stop your extramarital affair….it may seem sweet today but tomorrow the bitter aftertaste of deceit and lies is the only remaining savor we taste!
Make a bold declaration and tell your spouse: I am prepared to deal with the foxes in our marriage! Confront those foxes and deal with them! No more room in my life!
